Jesus arrived in

Day 2
|
Jesus went to the temple and challenged the
Jewish leaders about their temple worship and how they had defiled the temple
by making it a place of worldly gain.

Day 3
|
Jesus’ discussion with the Jewish leaders
continues and when they feel they have lost the upper hand they begin to plot
how to kill him. However, one of Jesus’ own disciples offers to betray him.
|
|
Day 4
|
There is not much about the happenings of
this day, but Jesus knew of the plot of his death.
|
|
Day 5
|
Jesus introduced the sacrament and prophesied
of his death and who would betray him. Jesus led his disciples (now 11) to
|
|
Day 6
|
The Jewish leaders strive to find guilt in
Christ and sentence him to death without causing an uprising against them. He
was crucified that night, but the Jewish leaders didn’t want the body to
still be displayed during the Passover the next day. So he was buried that
night and sealed in a tomb by two of his disciples.

|
Day 7 (Sabbath)
|
“This was the Jewish Sabbath. Jesus’ body
remained in the tomb, but in spirit he ministered in the realm of departed
spirits.”
|
|
Day of the Resurrection
|
Jesus was risen and seen by many witness,
including Mary.
